The feature, that allows you to capture in-the-moment videos or post images for a limited time, has gotten a few updates. Most of the time, users posted a screenshot of a song they were playing on a loop on Spotify. But thanks to recent development, Instagram and Spotify are working together (kind of). How to Add Spotify Songs to Instagram Story
Step 1: To add Spotify songs to Instagram story, launch the Spotify Music app. Open the song you want to add to the Instagram story as a soundtrack. Now, click on the three vertical dots at the top right corner.

Step 2: Click on the Share option.

Step 3: You’ll see a few options. Click on the second option, Instagram Stories.

Step 4: Instagram will directly take you to the Stories segment. Click on Send To and select Your Story. Now tap on Done.

Step 5: You’ll notice that when you click on Play on Spotify, you can a nifty little option called Open Spotify. If your followers like the tune you are humming to, they can simply click on this link which will be redirected to the song on the Spotify app, provided if they have the app.
